LAND USE POLICY AND ADMINISTRATION PROJECT

LUPAP

On October 18th 1999, the Government of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago entered into a consultancy agreement with the Land Tenure Center – University of Wisconsin to provide technical assistance to support the implementation of the Agriculture Sector Reform Programme (ASRP), IADB Loan 881/OC-TT. 

The objective of the Land Use Policy and Administration Project (LUPAP) is to assist the Government in its effort to shift land policy to become more open, accessible, forward looking and market-oriented.

 The Project utilized 26 Consultants from five units; Land Tenure Center, University of Wisconsin; Terra Institute of the USA; Center for Urban Development Studies, Harvard University; Ordnance Survey of the UK and ACT Ltd of Trinidad & Tobago. The Reports of the project fell into three categories:

1)      State Land Management

2)      Land Use Planning

3)      Survey Regulations

 This electronic guide is designed to assist interested persons in navigating the full set of Reports and in identifying documents through their contents and issues.
